Open Season 3 is a 2010 American computer-animated comedy drama adventure film directed by Cody Cameron and produced by Sony Pictures Animation. It is the third installment in the Open Season film series and the sequel to Open Season 2 (2008).
It focuses on Boog misplacing places with a sosia named Dug to be in a circus after his friends refused to go in a trip with him. Boog falls in love with a female bear named Ursa and tries to win her heart while Dig enslave Boog's friends.
Just like Open Season 2, it was released in theaters in some countries and on DVD on October 21, 2010. Despite receiving negative reviews from film critics, it was well welcomed by audience.
Most of the previous actors reprised their roles, with the exception of Mike Epps, Joel McHale, Jane Krakowski, Billy Connolly, and Jon Favreau. They are joined by new characters that are voiced by Melissa Sturm, Matthew J. Munn, Dana Snyder, Karley Scott Collins, Ciara Bravo, Harrison Fahn, and Cody Cameron.
